Am I right in thinking that as my wing mirrors currently fold flat when I lock the car from the fob, if one of these jammers is in operation and impacted my car, the wing mirrors will fail to fold?

These jammers prevent the car from being locked, relying on you to click and walk away. They don't actually unlock the vehicle? RRS 2011. 5L, S/c in Sumatra Black. She's lurvely.

Best not to use the fob at all, keep it in your pocket and just to touch the dimples on one of the door handles, no signal is then transmitted by the fob and the car will only lock if you are within less than 1m IIRC, any further away and the radio signal is so weak that car cannot detect the fob 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Gents, I believe that it's not a question of pressing any buttons on the keyfob as the keyfob is continually transmitting hence the keyless entry.
There are threads on here about the keyfobs and I mistakingly thought that the buttons had to be pressed for any low life to hack,but, this is not the case.

This is how the said low life scum are managing to take cars without actually having the keys as they are picking up the signal being transmitted by the keyfob even though it's in your house and they are outside

The buttons on keyfob transmit signal over longer distance which can be captured by criminals hiding nearby

The fob in pocket/touching door to lock works over short distance so more difficult for scumbags to hide and capture the signal
