RRS 2008 2.7 error code P0101-17 MAF SENSOR ?

Hello to all,
I had a few days to replace the 2 egr valves (one was blocked) I thought it was all o.k.
Now ONLY on the highway or when the car runs at constant speed for a few km I turn on the light ENGINE FAILING I stop the car and start immediately without problems and after a while it reappears.
I have inserted a defect reader lm337 wifi and I read error code P0101-17, MAF TEST NOT CANCELED FOR THE OPERATION CYCLE
Yesterday I unplugged it and it was spotlessly clean, I still sprayed the brakes and I put everything back but without getting results, the problem is only visible on long roads, in the city never happens.
What I do ? Switch the sensor? Do I buy VDO brand?
Thank you, sorry for my English ....
My RRS is the year 2008 2.7 diesel.
;O)
Schizz.

Today I saw with LM337 that the value of the MAF vary by accelerating ... so I think the sensor might NOT be defective.
Waiting for your advice before changing it ...
Thank you !

Had exactly same problem with my 2.7 from 2009 for about one week after changing EGR valves. Finally used bottle of Forte cleaner and a good, long spirited drive fixed it all. No engine system fault again....

Update. Got my esf back so hasn't been solved! Only on cold start when driving about 1 kilometer is get ESF with MAF code P0101-17 and car goes into limp mode. Have to stop then to put it in neutral and then it rev's up again.
Already also cleaned MAP sensor but also didn't help.

Going to have to investigate further, keep you updated.

My fault is different ...
Now I have replaced the MAF sensor but I have no courage to go on highway.

My defect occurs at constant speed and after several minutes, the machine goes into "recovery mode" and I have to stop, turn it off and on again, then reappear after a few minutes code error P0101-17
As soon as I can retreat on the highway ... we hope.
In the city the car is perfect no problem.

Possible that none of the forums had the same problem?

After cleaning also my MAF with bardahl egr cleaner didn't get the ESF again since couple of days. Hopefully fixed now.
