ReMap options 2017

Hi Guys!
Strongly Considering a Remap on my 2010 3.0l TDV6.
I'm just wondering the best way to go about it really, is it something most remap places do now or is it still limited too a specialist? I'm in Manchester so if anyone could recommend somewhere local to go that'd be great!
Also would you say it was worth it?

Thanks guys

Your issue is not who can remap the car, it's who you trust to remap it Wink

Many places will be able to physically carry it out, but reliability should be taken into account. With this in mind, stick to a company who specialises in JLR products Thumbs Up

Easy one.
Use either Alive Tuning or BAS
For Manchester, then someone like Bodsy (search on here) is a mobile BAS tuner. Highly rated Thumbs Up

Thanks for the replies guys, Think i'm gonna go with BAS in York.
A little off-topic but has anyone fitted an Induction Kit to their sport?
It's going in for the silencers removed soon and I might take an extra step and make an Induction kit for it!
Should sound immense then Laughing

Can't agree more with this. Remapping the engine output is touchy stuff. Personally I would not do it here but across the Pond there may be a place that can do it. If I were you I'd look for a place that not just specializes in Land Rovers but has a solid history of testing their software for a healthy balance of performance and reliability. Any hack can boost the power but a good software tech will tweak and test a thousand times before releasing it to the public.

Again, you need a BALANCED remap, not one that overpowers the engine and its components.

With the petrol engines you can find a Jaguar specialist to do the remap, I'm sure the diesel plants are used in other motors, but as I don't have one I've not looked into it haha. Thumbs Up

Remap and one of those superfly kkk filters and your looking at at least 900hp!!! Your 0-60 would be -0.5 seconds!! At least that's what my mates sisters boyfriend said his does.
