This is the link to the official Australian Government website where Land Rover (and others) are required to list all of the recalls they issue:

makes for interesting reading when you look at the other vehicle brands to see what type of recalls they've had and also how many/few.

Thanks, that's a useful link which hopefully I won't need to use! |

Seems the earlier recall for oil leaking into the brake master cylinder has now been extended...

BMW isn't that mucn better - despite them having TSB's , they don't seem to act on them unless specifically requested. (although to be fair, my issue was just the dash randomly blanking out) |

Just bought a 07MY TDV6 - put the Vin into the system - never had a warranty claim, never been serviced by a dealer, and as a result has a few recalls outstanding. Getting them done next week - should I be asking for software updates or is this automatic each time the car is seen by a dealer?

Digging up an old thread but in relation to the new "recall"/ inspection in the UK regarding the 'swan neck' towing hitch.

As far as I am aware the swan necks are not legal in Australia - I assume you got it from other than LRA suppliers. The Aussie hitch is the two piece arrangement with a hymen reece style hitch.

I agree that it could be just a definition thing - this is what I thought was the subject of the recall but not so sure.
