Blue LED interior lights

I am wanting to have blue interior LED's in both foot wells and also the boot light. As of this moment i can only get the blue LED to work in the boot. Not in the footwells.

Does anyone know if i need special LED for the foot well.

As said by Wayne above, any should fit and work as long as they are Canbus Error Free type, the cheaper ones nearly always aren't. John

Are they in the right way, there's no reverse polarity with some LEDs.
If they work in boot they should work in the front, they're all the same.

You dont need CANBUS bulbs for the internal lights.

I replaced most of my internal bulbs with 12 smd panels. The rear reading lights I swapped out for 24 smd panels, I had to modify the holders to get them all to fit but it's a worthwhile modification. The most effective replacement was the puddle lights in the mirrors, rather than being a pale useless glow they now illuminate the side of the vehicle and (more importantly) the floor.

I replaced the welcome lights in the doors, footwells and the boot with these (total needed is 7)

I used similar to these in the puddle lights (they were too bright for in the cab):

I can't remember which I used to replace the front ceiling lights, I'm pretty sure it was these:

That was the first mistake i made with the regular white LED's, put them in and no joy. muttered under my breath a profanity and went back inside. then clicked that they may only go in 1 way. for the blue LED's i tried the drivers side foot well and placed the LED in both ways, no joy, plugged in a regular bulb and it worked. Haven't tried the passenger side as ran out of bulbs and it seems a pain to get to in the cold.

I've put the Osram blue LEDs into the footwell lights without any problem. Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4
