2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

Gearbox fault??

So I started the car this morning, put the car on D and immediately error message pops up 'gearbox fault'
But when I switch to N, R or P the message disappears

Dealer came and took it and loaned me a small fiesta

Is this a common fault? Anything to be alarmed about?

Have also noticed the car jerks forward when coming to a halt during downshift

It is a common message, often a sign of a battery on the way out especially if you get other messages like HDC unavailable as well 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
