Safe to Trickle Charge?

Hi Guys, is it safe to use a trickle charger while battery still connected to car? I don't use my 2009 RR Sport 2.7 Auto every day and with all the circuitry still in operation when it's turned off the battery looses some power.
Cheers.

I use cteks on all my cars in the garage except the daily driver, makes a world of difference and highly recommend. 2018 Telsa MS

I would consider replacing the battery if you haven't replaced it recently, I was having constant power issues (stereo freezing up, parking fault codes, occasional flat battery) and had to keep it on charge if I wasn't using it everyday, after a new AGM battery for £180, it seems a lot better behaved. Time will tell, but so far it's a lot better.

If you are going to regularly charge it, I recommend getting a ctek comfort connector which you can leave outside the battery cover. Means you can just open the bonnet and plug it in, rather than having to remove the battery cover every time, plus you aren't risking water ingress by leaving the battery cover off in the rain: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B002MT8S7E
