| CornishRob Member Since: 19 Feb 2016 Location: Gloucester Posts: 174      | The other thing to check is whether your tyres are matched across the axles. ie if you have different type tyres, or a big difference in the wear between them, this can prevent the gearbox from up-shifting, as it thinks the car is cornering. (Though this usually occurs when you get tho 4th, not 1st or 2nd).
