[For Sale] 15 Spoke Winter Wheels and Tyres - Price Drop

Hi,

Due to the sale of my RRS Crying or Very sad , I am putting up for sale my set of winter wheels. They are the later 19", 15 spoke items found on the SE edition, and are clad in Nokian WR SUV3. I did a lot of research before buying these tyres and I felt they offered the best balance of Winter performance, economy and noise. They are absolutely stellar on icy roads, I never once lost traction in any conditions, they even proved impressive on wet grass and off-road conditions. I can't remember exactly but I think I paid around 200 each at the time. In fact they're so good I'm buying a new set for my Disco 4 (different size).

Link to tyres on TyreLeader

Tyres have done a winter and covered approx 5-6000 miles and have a good 6mm a tread across all 4 tyres and a worn evenly. Tyre size is 255/50 r19 107Y One wheel is curbed (shown in photo) and the other 3 are in perfect order (bought brand new and only put on the the winter).

Price is a bargain 550 collection only from North Somerset.

Anyone's thoughts on these? I thought they would be a bargain?

Price drop to 700. The wheels were brand new and cost me 600 alone!

Unfortunately they are only worth what someone is willing to pay.
Many in UK never bother with Winter tyres let alone purchasing alloys as well. Best of luck with your sale. Thumbs Up
I have a winter set of tyres, but haven't needed them at all in last two years. Sad

Hi,
good tyres but as Johnski says only worth what someone will pay Sad although your wheels are near new they are still second hand and have a look what a set of wheels fetch on the bay of fleas Question

Winter tyres are well worth putting on, if the temp goes below 7degrees they work better (more grip) than summer tyres that's wet and frosty roads not just snowy and its often more about stopping that bit sooner Whistle mine go on about Nov and off again March

Thumbs Up

The price looks good to me, I have a set of alloys with winter tyres and have just swapped them tonight having seen the snow forecast, 45 mins with a trolley jack to do all 4 Smile

To be fair 700 is the price of the tyres and whilst your running on the winter tyres your not using your summer ones so I saw them as a zero cost option Nanocom Evo

Cheers guys, I thought he price was about there. I'll give it a bit more and then stick them on flea bay.

They really are great tyres and review better than the wintracs.

To be honest

I thought the 800 was a bit too much but the price drop considering its cost me 550 just for tyres is quite good. Unfortunately did not see your price drop till just now and tyres already bought. GLWTS Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Price drop to 650. Tyres are excellent and 3 wheels are basically brand new with some damage to the other that's not really that noticeable.

Still plenty of winter left! These are absolutely fantastic in the ice/snow/wet.

Price drop now to 550 to shift. An absolute bargain, half the price of what I paid and they've only done a few thou!

I agree. Hated putting my 20's back on for the summer. They're the latest shape as well for the old sport.
