I thought blanking them on the V8 was not an option,,, easy done on the V6, but not possible on the V8.

Totally agree, just replaced mine at 120,000 miles, just under £700 for parts and labour 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater |

Mine failed within a few months of each other at 92k which is why I suggest doing both at once otherwise it's like doing the same job twice! 2010 RRS, TDV8

As I said earlier in the thread,,, V6's are easily blanked,, never seen anyone posted having blanked a V8 Egr valve. It's the V6 that has most issues with these. Search the forum before you make any hasty decisions. 2010 RRS, TDV8

I blanked them off since mid 2016.. software from Pete Bell.. butterflies removed and EGR pipes blanked.. everything okay yet |
