Washer Bottle

Hi All,
I have ordered a MY16 AB, and wondered about the £30 Washer bottle option. Can anyone tell me the capacity of the original bottle, the increase in capacity of the option, and wether the option is actually an additional bottle or an increase in size of the original bottle. If additional, does it mean there are two to fill or are they linked to one common filler.
Many thanks,
H.

I believe it is a single bottle - standard is tiny, extra large is worth the £30. My dealership add it to every order by default.

Don't know the capacity but I added it to my order. On RRS1, the tailgate glass gets very dirty very quickly especially in winter. As I understand, RRS2 is the same in that respect so any additional capacity for washer fluid could only be a good thing and a no-brainer for £30 in my opinion. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

That's very useful. I didn't know that. Rear camera becomes almost useless even after a short trip due to road salt. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Is MY16 being built now? I have had this issue with previous cars so is a good idea and waiting for my car to be built now.

Rear camera wash would be very handy, hopefully I'll be placing my MY16 order in September. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

I have wondered if there is a reason they only fit a small one and charge £30 for a sensible one? Apart from getting more money of course!

Don't worry, you will get very used to giving the rear camera a quick wipe with your finger every time you set off anywhere during winter. Somebody on this forum recommended smearing some RainX on it in an attempt to keep it clearer for longer. The rear of the car gets incredibly dirty incredibly quickly, in fact the worst car I've ever owned in that respect

It is an additional bottle so you have two to fill. I am sure to some it will look out of place, but then the bonnet is closed most of the time.

I'm supprised they don't charge extra for having headlights or indicators, what about a boot button... Is that extra as well.
Bit of a joke I think the way they just rip people off.
£30 for a decent sized water bottle is a total Censored take. !

I think they should call these rrs2 kit cars...! Laughing RRS HSE with a few extras & a

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Having recently driven my new RRS on a delivery trip from London to Scotland on a day when I had torrents of rain the entire journey and a) I didn't have an issue with dirt accumulation on the rear screen but yes the bodywork got very dirty or b) a problem with the size of the standard washer bottle and I am really really glad that LR has seen fit to give us both intemittent and continuous running rear wipe. My first FFRR (an ealry L322 TD6) had a fixed intermittent wipe that was too fast in town and way too slow on the motorway - and to get it to go into continuous mode you had to be doing over 80MPH.................. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks you all for your replies and opinions, but can anyone actually answer my original questions?

Many thanks,
