Hi all,

Anybody ever come across problem putting number plate on car?

Something along lines of, "cannot do online, due to previous licensing history of this vehicle"

Going to phone them in the morning, but bugging me what problem may be.

Had a similar issue trying to take a private plate off a vehicle.
In my case it turned out the vehicle had spent time untaxed at some point in its history which throws up that message and stops the online process. Contact DVLA with the reference number it throws up they will sort it via the old manual method, which indeed they did fairly quickly to be fair. D3 TDV6 SE auto 2006
