Green laning site

Just found this site www.trailwise.org.uk
Got a fair few routes on there.
The map search doesn't work for me. But I only tried on mobile.
Found a few routes that I'm going to go try out shortly. I'll upload some photos if they're any good.

Just found that, only cheap too!
First trail done, wasnt very taxing but good fun.

This was about as rough as it got.

Might go explore some more!

Is that really a BOAT or ORPA? Doesn't look well used for sure....
My advice would be to hook up with folks in the know or risk getting into trouble Big Cry
Stay legal Thumbs Up

Not sure to be honest.

Here it is on trail wise.

I've registered with Glass if only to support a good cause.

It's an ORPA that splits into two and both are dead ends that turn into footpaths so you need to turn around at end of each Big Cry
Must be some better lanes around Thumbs Up
Nice one joining GLASS Thumbs Up

If you hook up with the local GLASS rep for your area they can put you in touch with like minded folks etc.
Also join a local LR club e.g. Staffs and Shrops who will organise lane days. Or North Wales LRC - close enough to you and there are some mind blowing lanes in mid and north Wales Thumbs Up

Smiler, you give your location as Forfar - there are several clubs that hold green laning events in central Scotland and there are two specialist Land Rover clubs that welcome all the models from S1 to SVR RRS and SVO FFRR's. Scottish Land Rover Owners' Club (www.slroc2.co.uk) and for gentle but fun off-road trips just about every month there is Scottish Green Road Club (www.scotgrc.co.uk) meeting - SGRC don't do mudplugging (well not intentionally!) but do have a side shoot section that provides that sort of off-roading under the guise of their training section. There are other clubs further north too like Highland Off-road club who hold their events around the Inverness area. SGRC has a meet coming up in January near to Inveraray on private roads and your RRS would handle it as well as your Defender.......... I even took an Evoque over the routes but didn't do the serious sections as the car was only 2 days old................ but I did them again a year later in it on 20" road tyres!
I have a Defender as well that I normally use for these events as I don't mind the odd bump and scratch on it! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
