I would do if I were you! It frightened the hell out of me. I was so scared and grateful to have made it to the side of the motorway that I completely forgot to get P!ssed off that it was new the day before and had done 86 miles. LR assist had to look it up by the chassis number as the reg was so new. Before you moan at me for not changing it myself, I must point out that it would have required me to sit in the slow lane whilst changing it as it was Off-Side-Front. LR Assist sent a low loader and we changed it at the top of the next slip road.

Just the standard 20" tyre which came from the factory. I'll check tomorrow and report back. Would guess one of the mainstream manufacturers.

Jimrrsport try http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic7686.html . You also gotta watch out for your RRS 18" tyres, one of the D3 boys had 2 punctres in few hours greenlaning in Peak District.

Having experienced two sets of the OE alloys, and how pathetically fragile and precious they are, I'd say that if you DO damage a wheel, you're cheapest and most sensible option is to buy a set of fake alloys as sold on ebay or from people such as Craddocks, Nene Off Road and Silverline.

AGREED! I struggled over getting the OE Stormers or the erzatz ones and chose the former. Had I to do it over, I'd go for the fakes... 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge |

To be fair guys, the wheel is still in tact and didn't disintergrate at that speed. Not sure if a copy would fare as well. Having experienced this at first hand I'd stick to originals. TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.
