AUDI A2 ..out of production??

I was looking for a simple work car, to take me back and forward to work

I do a lot of back-roads and, need something very small, but quick and economic,

don't want to take the FFRR or the beamer on these roads, most of the roads are not wider than farmer roads, so a narrow car is handy for letting other cars pass

So i thought about an Audi A2, but when i went on the audi website, there is no obtion to select the A2 anymore. so what's the story behind this??

they stopped producing the A2 over a year ago - apparently AUDI were selling them at a loss

Mrs MDP had an Audi A2 - she loved it & it was much bigger inside than you would think. Very well put together - typical audi quality. Pick of the range for me would be the Petrol FSI version - quieter - petrol is cheaper than diesel and still returns awsome mpg. Plus a lot quicker overall. You can still find some very late 1 owner fully loaded cars out there. ie with full leather trim , bose . aircon , 6 x cd , panoramic sky roof , etc etc

All aluminium shell as well = no rust

Silver / red leather looks good.

buying that car was a stealers dream - we went shopping for a small cheap car and ended up with a fully loaded A2 costing £19k Shocked - they definetely saw us coming that day - never regretted it though as it really was a good little motor

I know its no comparison to the Audi, but my little run around is a Pug 107. Its comfortable, nippy and does around 50mpg. Definately worth considering:

The A2 was a sales flop.

They are bringing out a new one which looks a cracking little car.

Pah, use the Rangey! In the small car you'll always have to reverse to passing places, you'll still meet people in the RR but you won't be the one reversing Wink
