ACE

How would I know if I have ACE (assisted cornering enhancement) fitted to my car? Trying to buy a belt and apparently, they are a different length if fitted.

If you have ACE, you will have Brembo front brakes fitted as standard, and an additional fluid reservoir clipped onto the airbox, and a valve block fitted underneath the OS B pillar Thumbs Up

As I understand it, it's only fitted to S/C and TDV8's though it might be an optional extra on TDV6 cars, but quickest way to check is under the bonnet at the front of the engine there will be a reservoir with a yellow cap, not the PAS which Lookes the same, or look under the car on the drivers side on the chassis rail you will see a valve block with about 6 pipes connected to it.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

That's an interesting point lads, i have a 2.7 v6 with ACE and brembo brakes. I am left wondering what is standard and what's been added as i have SNOTM, three flash indicators, clock on the dash and lights on (green) ?? Is this standard issue or has it been tweeked ? Would be nice to know if the dredded EGR's are blanked Whistle 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!!

The V6 came with ACE and Brembo's as part of the DR pack

All pre-07 V6's (IIRC) came without DR, and most 07-09 V6's came WITH DR

There will be the odd exception, but in general Thumbs Up

DR pack also included the updated steering rack that allowed the owner to fit up to 20" wheels without the owner (or LR) busting the warranty...... It became standard for 2007MY on all RRS's IIRC 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I have worked on a few 08/09MY's without DR, but they have all been low spec cars

It may have been standard from 07 on all HSE models Question
