Hi I'm new here ! Got my 2007 tdv8 with 37 on the clock 3 weeks ago and loving it , Was thinking about taking out the extended warrantie @£1200 , just looking for advice if it's worth it or is there anyone else that offers the same service maybe cheaper ?

Previous to LR's 3 x Merc E320 estates - fantastic load carriers and long distance cruisers, ultra reliable. Only changed as needed a 4x4 high tow vehicle. Did have a 1955 early LR drop down windscreen and fuel tank under the drivers seat; again very reliable and super rugged.

Just bought the AA Gold which I was assured covers everything for £999 for 2 years.
Full details have not been delivered yet so have not been able to have a read. Lot of Landcruisers now sold

The RAC run a similar warranty for members cars, you did have to apply for price.
Warranty Direct does get a lot of bad press and horror stories BUT when compared to number of happy customers it isn't a great amount % wise. Always ensure you read full contract, as some things under certain levels are not included.
Problem I had with previous car with Warranty Direct was the problem arose Off Roading, and evidently damages caused while off road aren't covered. Please ensure you get in writing if you go off road. John
