Hi , problem with tailgate , had a flat battery because the tailgate hadn't been shut properly the night before , but now I have recharged the battery and I can't open or shut the tailgate properly , seems to be closed but not the extra bit usually done electronically , if you know what I mean ,any help how I can sort this would be grateful ( is it a fuse gone ? ) rear window wiper don't work either , is this because tailgate isn't fully shut ? Thanks

Problem sorted , sorry for being so hasty with my post but I looked on here and saw the 30 second trick and hey presto , it worked , basically I pressed down on the tailgate whilst my wife sat in the car and pressed the unlock button on the dash for 30 seconds then when she heard the switch make a noise she pressed the unlock button again and BINGO , all sorted 😀😀😉

Good news all now sorted, and one to remember by me and other fairly newbies.  John
