Just bought an IIDTool BT from LRDirect.
Plugged it into my RRS and tried to connect it via bluetooth to my iphone 6 + my ipad air but none of them would connect even after 30 min.
I had just downloaded the IIDControl app on both devices this morning.
Anyone else had a problem like this ?

I have just sent an email to GAP so will wait and see what they come back with.
It always happen to me.

The blue light on the IID Tool flashed all the time and tha car was running at the time.

Reboot your device, unplug the tool, and start again

I have now tried that with no luck, I have however been able to activate the iidtool and update the software.
Will have another go at the bluetooth and see if I can get it to work.

When Patrick comes on line you will find he is the most helpful person possible. I had some problems at the beginning and he took me through it step by step until I got it working.

I got a reply from Patrick and it turns out that the unit supplied from LRDirect has a faulty PCB.

Patrick at GAP has been great though and a new one is on its way already - I will post back the faulty unit to him.

The service from GAP and Patrick has been top notch.

Yip once again only me that had a problem with an account, they were two days fixing it but I got there.
Just got home last night and could not wait to try the IID tool.

I am not a lucky guy as you may see, if its going to go wrong it will for me.

Just a quick update, New IIDTool send from Patrick from Canada on Thursday, arrived today which is great service.
IIDTool activated and working a teat
