The guy opposite me has a new Merc, when he unlocks his lights come on automatically

Is there anyway to have this feature on my 2011 RRS?

I'm sure that my 2007MY TDv8 could switch on the "see you home" lights (head lights and/or reversing lights) without having to press the button on the fob, if it was dark then all I did was unlock the car from the house and walk out to a lighted up car.
Have a look in the setting menus in the dash 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

my 2007 v8 does this, as soon as I press the unlock button, the lights come on, its a part of the menu system in the dash that needs to be turned on, same as drive away auto locking 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater )))

anyone seen if there is a menu for this feature

If anyone could guide me how to set this up in the 'dash menu' it would be well appreciated

Had a look through the dash menu, all I can find is 'delayed headlights'

Can anyone with a facelift model find the option to turn headlights on when unlocking?
