United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Tim when I first saw your post I thought you must be joking. Just looked at the promotional video and read a bit about it and just maybe this would fit. My only concern other than price is boot space:

.............. Seats Up.............Seats down all in litres
RRS 958 2013
FL2 755 1670
DS 981 1698
F Pace Jag 650 1740
Merc ML 690 2010

I might just about get away with 1740 litres with seats down but 650 is tight.

We travel to Europe a lot, tow a RIB up and down slipways; have a cage with two small animals so space important.

Pleased to see they are not pushing 7 seats on us.

Interesting figures Nigel Thumbs Up

Good to see DS has biggest boot seats up which is what I want and specced mine with roof rails in case I need the roofbox Cool

DS now available with 5 seats in 180 bhp too which has pleased a lot of people Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

I must admit head says DS heart says stay with RRS. Hopefully all the early life DS faults will be sorted out soon. Had a 2.2 diesel DS for the day as courtesy car and ok'ish but not as comfy as we had hoped. Wife not impressed compared to RRS. However, yesterday in the LR La Rochelle dealer sat in one again and she liked it more.

Maybe see if Hunters Guildford will let me try out the new engine DS for a couple of hours to have another look.

oh yes 5 seats changes things as well as I definitely do not want 7 seats. Ideally full sized spare and towbar removable or fixed not fussed.

I test drove 2.2 lux and have to say 2.0 is far better Thumbs Up

The lux had 20" wheels and the HSE has 19" so ride is better just as it was on my RRSs in winter Cool Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

ok PM best days and times for you both. I can be quite flexible after 22nd Current Merc GLE 3.5d 2016 model, 2011 RRS HSE standard
Previous 2012 FL2 liked but boot too small
Previous to LR's 3 x Merc E320 estates - fantastic load carriers and long distance cruisers, ultra reliable. Only changed as needed a 4x4 high tow vehicle. Did have a 1955 early LR drop down windscreen and fuel tank under the drivers seat; again very reliable and super rugged.
