Condensation

Got my new car today - very happy so far!!

In both the journeys I've used it today, I've had terrible condensation on all the windows (including the side ones). I've had to have the blower on max pretty much the whole time to maintain it clear.

The climate control in general seems a bit feeble compared to the 15MY l405 - are they the same?

Has anybody else had any issues?

Is the recirc button switched off? I had my car suddenly mist up the other day for no reason at all, when I looked at the controls I had somehow managed to press the recirc button 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yes it's off. Checked that first as had that before. Only thing I could think of was the 'Auto' recirc getting stuck on.

Hi,
just a thought, as it is so new, when they were cleaning and preparing it they may have got damp in the car, are you able to park it in a garage and leave the windows open to let it air, see if that helps. 5.0 Ltr Superchrged RRS2, Chile Red, Sideways out of junctions!

Slightly better this morning but the a/c smells a bit of molten plastic! Anybody else have this? I really hope I don't have a problem already...

I've read about the air con smell on here, another member took it back to the dealer and they can swap "something" (can't remember what it was called) which fixes it

I get the plastic small now and then, but two weeks on its lot less, could be some protective oil on parts evaporating during first use.
