Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to go about adding fixed side steps. The LR steps are around £995 from the main dealers, and I know there are several aftermarket versions available. I would be intersted to know what others have done to add side steps after delivery.

Replaced the floppy flappy ones with genuine fixed a couple of months ago, much prefer them but its a personal preference. I paid less than £995 (from memory somewhere around 600) and had a local independent fit them for another £60.

I think it all depends on what your looking for? I do require to go off-road from time to time and they protect the door mouldings and help me lever my backside in the car when its at anything other than access height.
