Front end creaking noise - any thoughts?

just posting to see if there's anyone here with a similar noise or possible ideas as to what could be causing a creak/squeak/grind/bump noise from the front drivers side corner (wheel, brake, anti-roll bar or suspension suspected).

The noise happens when braking gently at low speed, coming to a junction or roundabout. Sounds like a creak (sort of noise you get from a worn out bush) - not consistent and can be quiet some times but there, other times loud enough for all in the cabin to hear.

So far the dealer has had the front corner checked - wheel, brake, roll-bar, suspension parts etc - and couldn't find/rectify. Earlier this week they had the car for 3 days and decided it was caused by the rear brakes (???) took apart and refitted, delivery back to me sorted......er, no. Noise still there.

I've been asked to monitor for the next 2 weeks and try to establish a pattern - although been trying to do that for months - BUT the service manager did come out with me in the car and heard the actual noise for himself, still baffled.

I've driven several other RRS and FFRR of the same age (2014 64 plate) and newer and none make the same noise so I know there's something wrong, the fact that sometimes I can actually feel the noise through the brake pedal (similar to ABS feel but less so) worries me although I'm assured by the dealer that it can be nothing safety related and the car is safe to drive (they've checked all the steer and stop stuff).

Anyone had or got anything similar that could suggest the cause?

Thanks, Colin Colin
