I had this until very recently on the same engine. After reading the forum I was convinced I had a cracked turbo hose but I couldn't find one. Anyway, gave that sensor on top of the engine a good clean out and problem solved.

Wheres the sensor that u cleaned? Current 2010 Range Rover Sport HSE with the usual toys: timed climate, Rosen headrest screens, tow bar with twin electrics, Blackvue HD cam

There's a huge thread somewhere. Lift the engine cover and its bang, smack in the middle. Looks like a black Lego piece held in by a single star screw. |

I got round to cleaning the map sensor today, it wasnt that dirty tbh.

Mine gives a few seconds of smoke on hard acceleration, even with silicone hoses and blanked EGR's. I've had a re-map though and have read that this can add to the smoke a little sometimes.
