How much should i pay for 2 x lower arms

Both for parts and labour from an Indy and should I change anything else whilst I'm at it?

Cheers,[/code]

Don't know what the going rate is but I had both lower front arms replaced last year at my local indie, i knew one of the front wheel bearings was starting to rumble so I decided to have both done at the same time. All parts were genuine landrover with a 2 year guarantee, so all in, 2 lower arms, 2 wheel bearings and 4 wheel alignment was around the 1400 quid mark.
Was like driving a different car when i got it back, l know I could have got it cheaper but i' m not so sure about some of these after market parts some garages use. 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
Many years ago,,,,, 1955 series 1 landie , sometimes wish I had kept it

Thanks gogsy,

I'm guessing the lower arm is the ball jount as well as therefore those bushes will be new as well. Is it worth getting Polly bushes?

I use an an independent Land Rover Garage who used Genuine parts from the main dealer 10 miles down the road. Front arms Inc bushes and the 4 wheel alignment all supplied and fitted for £760 plus Vat.
The vehicle felt brand new afterwards and would recommend getting them done to restore the vehicle back to how it should be. I can't believe I put up with it for the time I did.

I had my lower arms done by a LR dealer (so genuine parts and idiot mechanic) and it was about £880 from memory. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
