I changed my 06 2.7 6 speed TDV6 for a 2012 3.0 SDV6 with the 8 speed autobox a few months back and was told the newer car was more fuel efficient but I am finding it far thirstier than my old car.

My 06 car would easily do 490 - 520 miles on a tank of fuel, my new car only does 440 - 460 on a tank.

2014 RRS diesel HSE

Mine is mid 20 s around town (lots of hills ). Mid 30s on a steady long run . I would think upto 540 on a tank . You may need to get yours looked at .

Are the fuel tanks the same size? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I went from MY10 3.0 with 6 speed to MY13 with 8 speed and seen mpg up from 27 average to 30 according to trip computer.
