Good luck! May well end up doing the same myself - I was only really contemplating a warranty to cover me in the event I was unlucky enough to suffer some sort of a catastrophic failure that I couldn't afford to get fixed...

I couldn't consider running my car without a decent warranty, everything seems to be expensive. I have had reasonable success with mine but a leaking sump gasket was well over £1,000, a new fuel burning heater was about £800 fitted, all covered by the warranty. Can has done 35,000 miles so far.
