Definitely putting 45s on mine when they're ready for replacement. The roads around here are awful, so if it makes the ride better it's got to be the way to go for me.

Thanks for the post, I was wondering if the bigger profile would make much difference Thumbs Up

I too, have done this ,gone back to 20" with the hankook 275-45 profile .and agree that compared to the 22" wheels they are better.the steering is definitely lighter ,the ride is also better but not as much as I'd hoped .probably expecting too much

Have been using that size tyre on my Sports for around the the last 4 years, from a personal point of view found it the better size with the higher sidewall giving slightly more protection to the Rim plus a bit Smoother Ride. Never had any issues with Speedo being out of Calibration probably varies by about 1mph or L/R Warranty not being a approved size. Even ran that size Tyre on Sport Rims on my old P38 and that's a while ago.

Cheers

Did L/R make any comment about having he 45s on. Mines still under warranty, was going to pop in and ask their thoughts?

Hi

No they never ever commented working on the basis they actually noticed as some of them do leave a bit to be desired. I think a great deal of it may be dependent on the Individual Dealership.

The description of those tyres is hilarious!

The new Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 can optimally endure your car's engine's capacities on the street. Power and sportivity will be displayed with no compromise.

Or good for reverse gear....

Adhesion in backwards driving and driving through curves and over the entire life span. Take Formula 1 as example.

Bargain for £854 each!

Rolling with laughter

Does putting 45s risk any driveline issues as they are non stock? Visitor from fullfatrr.com

As long as they're all the same, Rob, the driveline will be fine as they're not too much bigger. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Have been running 275/45/20 tyres on my Sports for 4 years both pre facelift and facelift variants and never had any problems at all. Now running 275/45 x 21" on my current facelift car and o.k. so far.

Cheers

I like the idea of the 45 wall, but I only need to replace two tyres. Can I do this or do all 4 need changing?

I currently have 275 x 40 x 20 3.0 HSE RRS Stornaway (current)
Evoque Prestige Lux (gone)
3.0 a Disco 4 (gone)
