Has anyone else had issues with the Caliper paint cracking and peeling off their red calipers? Interestingly it's only at the rear, fronts are fine!

Rears aren't made by the same manufacturer and are merely painted red.

Yes there are several threads on this where they actually came from the factory peeling!

I've had replacement calipers on mine from the dealer which were supposidly from a new supplier but they have just started peeling again, so a new set of powder coated ones will be installed in the coming weeks.  Current:

Caliper paint is not cracking or peeling off until now. Built date of my car is November 2014 (only has approx. 3000km)
Colour front and rear seem to match. I checked the car a few minutes ago in my garage.
I took this foto yesterday.

Mine is in this week for rear paint issues, rear carriers are terrible!

Less then 9 mths old very poor standard....

Also warped front discs too on the Brembos so hope it's all new on Sat on collection None currently

Dear all,

Changing to Hawke Chayton wheels at the wheel shop last week was the ideal moment to check out the calipers.
My car has 4000 km and the back callipers are OK. Car AB Dynamic 2014.5 built date November.

Had my wheels off last week to change to my summer wheels and tyres......

and had a good inspection and clean ...

Both fronts and backs were in good shape too..... although it is still such a shame about the finish of the rears 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

Well thanks to Pete@ customer services I have nice new carriers and Calipers due to the defective paint issues

Looks good. Well done Pete - you are a credit to Land Rover and the forum.

So I have had the same problem.. I knew about it before buying my 15 plate model as it was the same on my last. I thought I'd take the wheels off when new and cost them with carbon collective platinum wheels sealant (amazing in wheels), calipers still failed - it'll be going back in.

Did anyone have grumbles from the dealer?
