Hi All

I am thinking of taking the plunge and buying a V8 diesel - I have looked at and driven the V6 but the car and deal wasn't for me but I am still fancying one.

After trawling through this forum and the internet I have had a few sleepless nights - so I am looking for some reassurance please - I have convinced myself that the turbos will go along with the suspension as soon as the ink has dried on the cheque - I will have a warranty but you know what I mean.

The one I have looked at is a 2007 with approx. 45k - serviced in 08,09,10,12 &14 - I thought it should be every 12 months / 15k - should this be worry point No 1 ?

Is there anything I should be wary of ?

I would also like some guidance on good indi's in / near Preston - on colleague has mentioned place in Garstang - any suggestions will be welcome.

In my honest opinion the v8 diesel is the one to have, never fails to put a smile on my face.
But as above you mentioned, always good to have a good warranty.

Turbos are more probe to the v8 diesels, but a good up keep, and regular servicing with good oil is a must.
