TDV6 and it wont start! cranks over fine, and quickish too, just wont fire at all....any ideas people?

My launch diagnostic shows battery vaults at 11.80 and drops to 10.60 when cranking over. Bothe EGR's mirror readings so doubt one is stuck open.....

That battery is not sounding great. My bet would be on failing glow plugs.

Be aware that they can snap all to easily when an attempt is made to remove them.

Remote Fuel Burn Heater will not work with a low powered battery. Normal power of a good battery is around 12.4V / 12.7V. itisme

The low voltage threshold for the FBH is 9.something volts.

At 11.8 volts, the battery is down to only 30-40%.

I left it on a battery charger for about three hours and she started fine! Kinda looks like a duff battery then? I've just scared myself stupid reading up about snapped glow plugs.....oh lord i hope i don't need to change mine.....

Keep monitoring the battery to see if it's holding charge; highly likely it is the culprit.

Worth keeping an eye on the alternator too to check it's charging properly.

if the temp was below -2 then you need new glow plugs , try a bit of easy start if it starts and then starts for the rest of the day you need new glow plugs
