Power opening is a standard function of the one piece tail gate operated from either the dash or key fob.

Closing is an entirely different matter that as standard can only be done from the tailgate button.

However thanks a clever little black box that contains a tilt switch the tail gate can additionally be closed from the dash or the key fob.

Installation is DIY simple and takes about 30 minutes.

Your 2010 is unlikely to have the basic electrics to operate the electric tail gate but that isn't rocket science.

Thank you very much for this information, however I couldn't find a thread where somebody would state that they got the one piece tailgate to open and close electrically. All I stumble upon is people saying they think somebody has done it, but can't recollect who, some say they only got to install it but never got the power open/close side of things working.
Please correct me if I'm wrong about the above.

The thread you need concerns converting the standard electric tailgate to remote close.

There are numerous threads about fitting the one-piece facelift tailgate. If you post on one of those you will discover how to do the electrics for standard open/close.
