Replacement intercooler pipe

Hello folks,

Just replaced my intercooler pipe due to a split in the old one. Fitted it no problem, a tiny bit of oil from the intercooler but nothing drastic which I think is OK? Anyway, while taking off the lower panel to fit the bottom of the pipe I've mangled the stupid Land Rover clips. Are they a LR only part or are there aftermarket ones available? I've had a look but can't find the exact ones on tinternet. Is there a special tool to remove the clips so as not to f*@k them up?

Many thanks, Jem. 2006 Buckingham Blue TDV6 HSE

Do you mean the plastic rivet things with a central pin that you have to pull out to release? Probably best to give Dan at Duckworth parts a ring and he will send you some by post. Often cheaper than suppliers on eBay and you have guarantee of getting exactly the right ones Thumbs Up

Don't know if there is a special tool but I usually just lever out the central pin with a small screwdriver and/or use needle nose pliers to pull it out. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
