Hello folks,

Just replaced my intercooler pipe due to a split in the old one. Fitted it no problem, a tiny bit of oil from the intercooler but nothing drastic which I think is OK? Anyway, while taking off the lower panel to fit the bottom of the pipe I've mangled the stupid Land Rover clips. Are they a LR only part or are there aftermarket ones available? I've had a look but can't find the exact ones on tinternet. Is there a special tool to remove the clips so as not to f*@k them up?

Do you mean the plastic rivet things with a central pin that you have to pull out to release? Probably best to give Dan at Duckworth parts a ring and he will send you some by post. Often cheaper than suppliers on eBay and you have guarantee of getting exactly the right ones

Don't know if there is a special tool but I usually just lever out the central pin with a small screwdriver and/or use needle nose pliers to pull it out. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
