2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Tonga Green

Just Changed Intercooler Pipe for Silicone

The car has been billowing smoke when at full throttle, so decided to change the pipe.

Anyway, changed the pipe, cut my fingers etc.

The pipe had oil in it, is this normal or an issue (think I know this answer).

Oil was more noticeable at the bottom of the pipe, but it was also at the top and a little in the housing the top of the intercooler hose joins to. I have no mechanical knowledge, so that's the best your getting!

Split intercooler
Iffy remap In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Give it a good few blasts at full throttle. If the hose was split, the exhaust system does get choked with soot

Cheers, in work in the morning so Il give it a good blast. Traffic should be minimal so wont blind anyone at that time!!
