Spare wheel protector

Finally got round to fitting my spare wheel protector before it gets nicked. Hope it deters any thieves Current 2010 Range Rover Sport HSE with the usual toys: timed climate, Rosen headrest screens, tow bar with twin electrics, Blackvue HD cam

I thought the point of the spare wheel cover was to hide the spring and cable from sight??

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue

That isn't the normal one. I got one from Disco3 site thT had an internal turret, so all you could see was a flat plate inside the wheel. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

Correct - that wont stop it going - the newer winch has sleeve over the spring also. I'd mod that if I was you otherwise they'll nick your protector and ebay that as well

I agree with Peachy , I got mine from Ray, really quick turn round and fitted in minutes, no way anyone can get to the winch
