2005 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Java Black

Door Mould Clips?

Can someone help and tell me what clips I need to buy for the exterior door mould piece.

This door mould keeps getting loose when going over a bump and I have to keep hitting the mould to clip back in position.

How annoying !

It uses two different clips which you can get from your local LR dealership. I have the same problem with mine and even after trying to replace the clips it still does it.

I really fail to see the point of the mouldings. They don't even look good.

Oh, DYC101420 and DYC500110G are the clips part numbers I think. Or perhaps someone tried to fix it previously with a mix of clips - I had asked the dealer to do it at a service once and they do seem to be inept. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Are we both on about the same trim...

The lower door trim on the exterior which is attached to each door...

I think so, yes. The sticky-out bits at the bottom that are normally textured and black but are usually colour coded by most on here. See edited previous post for the clip numbers. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

How easy is the door mould to remove?

Some forums state you have to slide then pull off whereas others state you can just pull them up and they unclip?

I seem to remember it is clip and slide - hence the different clip fittings. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
