There's your problem. Wink

Assuming that 12.7V reading was taken correctly (the car has been left for a while), it seems you have a good battery and therefore 15.4V is far too high (15 or so volts would be acceptable with a dying battery, but not a good one).

You need to get the alternator changed ASAP or it may damage your battery. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Ok thanks! Smile

Can someone comment if this is the alternator I´d need? http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/alternator-tdv...27543.html

My RR has the Active Sway Bar -thingy if I understood correctly. There is a reservoir with yellow cap next to cooler.

Yes, that's correct for a vehicle with ACE.

You won't get better service than from Advanced Factors:

Edit: Not sure if it's £30 delivery to Finland (ouch) or if it would come under the £12 EU 2KG option though? Hopefully the latter. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Took a while but now I´ve changed the alternator. Every electrical problem is gone now and I´m so happy Very Happy No more Parking Brake Fault at all. At startup the max voltage remains about 14.3V even when I´m applying gas pedal.

Changed the Front Valve Block at the same time. Time will tell it that cause nose dropping over night. It happened for me only when the weather is cold and humid.
