Yep you need an oil that meets the Ford WSS 913B spec and is 5w-30, if under warranty you dont have much choice on this, out of waranty you can use a much better 5w-30.

No harm in it, known as UCL or upper cylinder lubrication. Usefull in V6 or V8 engines.

There is better for sure, have a browse through some of the 5w-30 synthetics here http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-653-5w-30.aspx However if under warranty I would stick with a Ford approved one. Cheers Guy |

Just like to point out that me and Oilman are not the same person - I'm Oilman151 & if anybody wants an oil or gas well drilled in their back garden, then I'm your man....! If anyone wants advice on lubrication, ask Oilman...!
