Side light bulbs

One of the side light bulbs is out on my 2008 RRS, looked on e bay and found some led ones, Weill these fit ok without any issues, some sellers mention resistors and can bus compatible?
Also should you get an error warning on the dash when a bulbs out?
Any help or link to the correct bulbs to buy would be great, thinking of the white led type to match the main headlight.

simonk While you are getting led's, get I think 14 total then you can do all car interior, side lights and number plate they are all the same bulb.
