Hand Brake Acuator/Heated Seat Switch Insert.

Hi Guys,
A couple of issues I need some help with. Firstly the handbrake on my 2009 RRS 2.7V6 HSE sometimes does not release on one side only. It recently had new discs/pads. Handbrake shoes,springs etc were all in good condition.

The second issue is the insert that fits in the middle of the heated seat switch has cracked & a tiny piece is missing. Main dealer has said I will have to buy a complete switch & surround at a cost of £800!!!!!!!!!

Any help would be appreciated.

What part of the switch do you mean the centre dash part ???? It's only plastic and clips in.

The piece I am referring to is about the size of a 2p piece. It has a picture of a seat on it with two tiny drill ways so illuminating 1st or 2nd heat range setting. Different switch to ones in your pic.

What year is your RRS ??? Update your profile and will make it easier for us to help. If it's the switch or surround £800 is a joke. Look on eBay or breakers yard.
