Pete at BAS recommended not to have bigger pipes as you risk damaging the turbo - the stock set up is done to provide the right level of air resistance for the turbo to operate like it should. deviating from this could lead to unexpected/unwanted issues.

The pipe work I've had replaced is the same size as stock but with the two rear silencers removed.
That video has a full straight though exhaust so the note is similar but not as loud, I personally don't like the sound of that one.
I'm sure people who remap cars say there map doesn't damage the cars engine too
Isn't it strange how company's that make free flowing exhaust have survived if they bring " unwanted / unexpected issues"
