Sounds like the starter motor has died. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

got the battery out to charge it and discovered the positive battery clamp is loose, whats going on with the design using a male/female cone to nip the terminal, what was ever wrong with a pinch bolt?

A simple knackered connection would be a good outcome! |

The 'cone' design is useless from the point of keeping it tight but they do provide a bigger surface area so they're better for conducting high current. |
