Just trying to get used to the stop start.

Does anybody else have an issue when it comes to reversing? When I go from Drive to Reverse, it will momentarily shut off the engine. If I have to do this 2/3 times, when reversing into a space it just doesn't feel right.

Also there seems to be an awful lot of roll when reverse is engaged and trying to reverse up an incline.

Why not press the little button to disable it when parking?
I do.

I turn it off every time I put the car in gear when first setting off. Regards

Normal start routine: Foot on break pedal, hit start button, disable start/stop, in gear & go.

Just returned from a few days away with a hire car - bonkers Citroen with Eco mode. Manual gearbox and very clever dash that records the total the time spent in Eco-mode with stop/start. However, as a manual, it only stops the engine if stationary with the gearbox in neutral and the clutch disengaged. One week with the car and I managed less than 1 minute!
