UPDATE: 10/11/2014

I have had a new battery and also the brake switch from ebay BUT still getting this error .. seems to be happening more often now !!

Then get the 'suspension is being lowered' ... once reset then fine till the next time you drive

FYI:

Car went to Les Pauls and they diagnosed 2 x faulty EGR valves. These were replaced and all seems good so far.
