Recently had the restricted performance message come up, causing the car to go into limp mode. Anyone else had this problem????
After the ignition was switched off it was normal, but came back on a bit later. The dealer has diagnosed it as being the turbo actuator valve.
Does this sound right?

Had this too, was a seized actuator, easy to free off. Search on here and there are loads of threads running.... TDV8 Java Black, Overfinch 22s

What car? My SDV6 has just had this. Was told there is a modified actuator available,but mine already had it fitted(HSE Black LE). Second failure the Stealer changed the complete turbo valve - so far , so good!

Its a 59 plate facelift sport. Had a new actuator valve fitted today, seems to respond better.
Time will tell i suppose.
