2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Alaska White

Voice squeeling

Hi anyone got any info on what this may be? When i press voice, is just squeals.. Same sound as if you put a mic to close to a speaker?

That was a "peculiar" post..

I am not sure that I understand what You mean.

Press what "voice" ?

Do You mean that You toggle the Voicecontrol paddle
on the steering wheel?

It should Give a "beep" and indisplay "Listening"..
on Your main message centre.
After that You give the command You would like the car to
execute..

What is or is not happening when You toggle the
Voicecontrol paddle?

Hi mate yeah when I toggle it just squeels. Has worked fine for 2 years

Sounds like microphone feedback which is a common problem with laptop computers and is usually a software issue.

If you've recently had a change to the software that'll probably be it as PEACHY suggested.

Seems to have sorted it's self out after a hard reset . Strange really
