Body coloured side sills and bumpers
If you spec the autobiography in a single body colour, i.e. the roof colour the same as body, then the body coloured sills, front section, and sculpted rear quarter sections all default to black plastic!
Is the any logic to why LR have done this?
I'm sure customers are ordering Autobiography models without realising that this happens unless they choose to have a different coloured roof!
Makes no sense to me, anyone know?

It seems the LR taste police do not allow both the roof and the sills to be body coloured apart from in a black car. I suppose it's to break up the otherwise vast expanse of colour though I think people should be able to torpedo their already slim residuals by making bad choices if they want to.Mark

It is one of the few changes made for MY15:
"The Range Rover Sport's exterior colour palette has been updated for 2015 to include the distinctive new Aruba silver, and the roof and door sills can now be finished in body colour or contrasting black."
