Front brake discs and pads. 4.2 s/c.

New brake discs and pads required. No idea what brand or kit! Any previous experience from fellow members would be beneficial.

Cheers.

Lee.

The site sponsor Duckworths is very competitive on genuine stuff. Service is A1. I have bought odds and sods and have no complaints at all.

I would email Dan: danroberts@duckworth.co.uk with a chassis number for a price, personally. He is on the case.

Click the "sponsors" link top right for other site sponsors. They are all folks that the site generally regards as reputable.

Cheers.

I shall check both alternatives out.

Are the brembo better? Did the S/C come with Brembo disc's also? Not only calipers.

Cheers Steve.

I have been told Lucas but TRW appears correct.

Thank you.

My experience with my RRS 2.7 is that the front and rear brakes wear at a similar rate (must be the weight distribution allowing the rear to do more). If the front are worn, the back would be worth checking too.

I ordered a full set from eurocarparts.com - free delivery in GB and competitive pricing (compared to what is available in NZ anyway!) - given I got Pagid discs and pads vs no-name stuff.

Good work. There is a surprising amount of work involved, compared to an ordinary car, isn`t there?
