The wife had our 2007 range rover sport up for its NCT in Ireland the same as the mot in the uk it failed on the rear suspension the reading said it was 45% of balance the wife asked the tester what did that mean and was told that he's not a mechanic so was wondering does any one here know what it means any help would be great thanks

Are you sure it was suspension and not brakes? Brakes could be working out of balance. 5.0 Ltr Superchrged RRS2, Chile Red, Sideways out of junctions!

Replace the rear brake pads and disc. If the RR is a 2.7d running on rim 20, it weakens the disc . best to upgrade to front an back disc from the 4.4 petrol. All you will have to change is the caliper mounts. Better braking, longer lasting pads and less fading.
